I”m back to work and it’s hard hard hard!
A good thing is that spring is definitely in the air. The sun goes down so much later than even two weeks ago, the air is mild and I even saw snowdrops. Time to start preparing for Spring Equinox. That’s the holiday that is all about bunnies of course!
So here’s a little story:
One day, when we were walking home in the dark, I noticed a funny looking lump in the gutter.
Since I’m notoriously curious, I had to check it out. Turns out there was a bunny sitting by the side of the road, all muddy and alone.
I decided to take him home.
He smelled of dog and his ear was drippy.
But one can’t just leave a lonely little bunny laying by the side of the road…
So as soon as we got home, he had to go on a ride in the washing machine.
Which did him a lot of good! He came out dizzy and wet but his fur was much, much cleaner and the smell was gone.
He had to hang out on the radiator for a couple of days until he was thoroughly dry, but then I brushed his fur and now he is a very respectable and happy little bunny again.
He’s currently getting acquainted with our little furry family and seems to settle in quite nicely.
We haven’t been able to find a name for him though (and we’re not even sure if he’s a boy or a girl), and that needs to be changed, of course.
That’s where you come in!
I’m having a little bunny-naming-spring-contest. All you need to do is think up a name for the little hobo-bunny and let me know about your choice.
You can leave a comment here, write an email, or get in contact via twitter or facebook.
You can have one entry per person.
I’ll pick a random winner on Sunday, 10th of March so that there’ll be enough time to send the PRICE, which will be
A SURPRISE EASTER/SPRING GIFT PACKAGE
(bunny will assist me in putting together something faboulous, of course!)
It would be cool if you could share this post or button with as many people as possible. The more people participate, the more fun it will be. And bunny is already very curious and wants to see as many names as possible!
Here’s a small version of the button for your website, alternatively, you can pin this or share on facebook, or show it to your grandmother.

Fida! Because it means redemption
oh my, i bet bunny’ll love that!!
I already told in facebook… But i delete it to put in here:
If it was in portuguese i would call Bom-bom ( that means Praliner)… but i don’t know if the cute bunny speaks portugues…
the name could be Praliner, ’cause she is brown… and it is a girl… I think…
=D
that would fit with one of the guinea pigs, who’s called caramel ^^
I would call him oreja. It means ear in Spanish.
How about Lucky?
thank you, that seems very fitting, too!
